Backyard decks

With backyard decks you generally want to ensure the deck is integrated with the rest of the house and surrounding landscape in terms of style and materials. So building a custom deck can sometimes be a bit of a gamble as you don't really know what it will look like until it's finished.
Perhaps one of the most flexible options is to lay down SwiftDeck outdoor tiles.
Ideally SwiftDeck tiles should be laid on a firm surface such as concrete, but they can also be laid on a bed of well compacted gravel. It's aslo possible to lay them on bare ground but you must make sure that all grass and weeds are removed, the surface is smooth and firm and a weed control mat is firstly laid under the tiles.
One of the great benefits of SwiftDeck outdoor tiles is that you can easily extend the deck any direction you want, as far as you want and at any time you want. And if you need to fit around posts etc., you can easily cut the tiles with a handsaw or jigsaw.
You can also mix the Colorado style patio tiles either with the Sierra design and/or the Double-C style tiles for different deck designs. The Sierra tiles in particular make an ideal border or feature area. To finish of the edges of the deck, reducers or transition strips are available which are simply clipped to the outside edge to give a totally professional finish.
And there's no need to worry about leaving the tiles totally exposed to the weather. These Ipe wood decking tiles will stand up to the harshest climates...baking hot sun, drenching rains and mountains of snow. and will keep looking great year after year.
