Resurfacing front porches
Does your front porch
project the warm, welcoming image you'd really like? Do you have wood boards that have become decayed with age or
deeply grooved with years of wear. Or a concrete porch that just looks
drab and lifeless.
If so, then SwiftDeck Decking Tiles can be the answer.
If the
boards are structurally sound, you generally don't need to rip them up but simply lay
SwiftDeck tiles directly over the top. Just click the tiles into place
and you'll have new, solid wood front porch in no time at all. And for a neat
finish around the outside edges, just
clip on the special reducer strips for a truly professional finish.
You can easily individualize your front porch design with SwiftDeck.
With two distinct styles plus a double length tile, you could for example run
a border of the Sierra style
around the edge of your porch or perhaps make a special feature near the doorway.
And if you get tired of one design, that's no problem.....just lift up the tiles
and lay them in another design.
And if your front porch is concrete, then its even easier and the
result is even more dramatic. Again it's a simple matter of just
clicking the tiles into place. A typical porch can be covered in less than
an hour... ready for use the minute the last tile is clicked in to place.
If any tiles need to be cut to fit around posts, pipes or to fill in gaps, all you need is a normal
handsaw or jigsaw. To make the job easier, we suggest using a template of stiff card
the size of a single tile.
